CB’a Graell receives 3 Sol awards

The 27th edition of the advertising and communications festival El Sol introduced this year for the first time a new category : Branding & Design. CB’a Graell performed more than well in this section, winning three of 17 attributed awards, in total.

A special jury composed of 4 professionals awarded the best projects amongst 67 entries across three categories : packaging, corporate identity and retail.

El Silver Sol was given to the packaging design of Berezko, a new pacharan (a typical Spanish alcohol). The creation focuses on the deconstruction of the brand, through a bold typography which evokes its origins while highlighting its authenticity.

CB’a Graell also won two Bronze Sol, one for the packaging design of Numen Premium Water and another one for the visual identity of the FIBA World Cup 2014 event.

The first project is the only one to have received a prize in the luxury packaging design category, for its elegant way of breaking the usual codes of its market and giving them a modern twist. The second project, the visual identity of the next Basketball World Cup, to be held in Spain in 2014, was awarded for its colorful and pictural interpretation of the fusion of dance and sport, illustrated by hands moving around a basketball.
